Recorded over the two-year period
between 1995-1997, 'Impossible Princess' is widely regarded as Kylie's
most personal and experimental album to date. Kylie wrote nearly
all the lyrics and melodies with production credits going to Steve
Anderson, Ingo Vaulk, Dave Ball and Manic Street Preachers. The
album peaked at No.10 with widespread critical acclaim upon its
UK release in March 1998. Fuelled by the success of 'Did It Again',
the album was embraced by Australian audiences and debuted at No.1
on the Australian Music report when it was released under its original
title in January 1998. Described by Q magazine as a 'hidden gem',
'Impossible Princess' was recently repackaged as a special edition
featuring previously unreleased tracks and remixes. |
