KYLIE TRIUMPHANT AS EUROPEAN TOUR ENDS IN LONDON!

08.08.2008 After 53 dazzling shows in 21 countries, reaching a combined audience of over half a million fans, Kylie's biggest, most lavish and critically acclaimed show to date, KYLIEX2008, reached its European climax on Monday night with the last of seven sold out dates at London's o2 Arena in Greenwich.

It's clear to see why the show has been such a big hit with fans and critics alike. With pioneering graphic staging and theatrical lighting, 14 dancers and acrobats, a nine piece band including a three strong brass section, and 8 stunning costumes from master designer Jean Paul Gaultier, Kylie presented an eclectic mix of classics and tracks from her current 'X' album.

Having 'wowed' audiences throughout Europe since opening night in Paris on May 6th, Kylie raised the bar yet again in triumphant fashion with a production that sparkles, dazzles, impresses, inspires and, most importantly, entertains for every minute of it's two to two and half hours.

It only took one look at the crowd shots on the video screens to see that the fans were wholly enchanted. However they weren't happy to leave the dressing up just to Kylie, many donned home-made T-shirts, colourful banners, pom-poms and cheerleader attire to catch her attention!

At the end of the show Kylie's dancers surprised her by each sporting a t-shirt with a letter which when they all lined up spelt out ‘WE LOVE YOU KYLIE’, and there was little doubt her audience felt the same way.

In a very special message for visitors to Kylie.com, Kylie would like to extend her heartfelt thanks to those who came to see the shows:

"Now that the European tour has finished I really wanted to thank you all for making it such an incredible experience for me. It has been (such) a joy to perform this show in so many cities, both familiar and new. The audience reactions have been overwhelming and I find myself peaceful, a little tired but overall energized and ecstatic about this tour... professionally and personally! Log on to Kylie.com for some more exciting tour news and, yes, I have made a video for 'The One' which will premiere on Kylie.com very soon!!!! Kylie x"

Kylie wanted to share the lyrics of ‘Flower’ as this was many of the fans favorite song...

FLOWER

Wrapped in a blanket of hope
asleep in a bed of dreams.
my step into eternity
is not what it might have been.

Or not at all
for who knows
which way the wind is gonna blow
I’m waiting for your gentle whisper

Distant child, my flower
are you blowing in the breeze
can you feel me
as I breathe life into you
in a while, my flower
somewhere in a desert haze
I know one day, you’ll amaze me

An act of balancing, imagining
the moment I can be
looking deep into your eyes
for now, a mystery

Or not at all
for who knows
which way the wind is gonna blow
I’m waiting for your gentle whisper

Distant child, my flower
are you blowing in the breeze
can you feel me
as I breathe life into you
in a while, my flower
somewhere in a desert haze
I know one day, you’ll amaze me

Two hearts
in the hands of time
your love bleeds into mine
I’ll be with you forever
and give you everything I am
want you to understand
it’s you and I together

Distant child, my flower
are you blowing in the breeze
can you feel me
as I breathe life into you
in a while, my flower
somewhere in a desert haze
I know one day, you’ll amaze me
