Some Kind of Bliss
 |
Release date: 15th September 1997
Highest chart position: 22
|
Recorded in 1997, 'Some Kind of Bliss' was the first release from Kylie's 'Impossible Princess' album. The sweeping guitar based track was written by Kylie with James Dean Bradfield and Sean Moore of the Manic Street Preachers but its undeniable indie influence ultimately cast a shadow over the upcoming album which was actually more danced based.
Peaking at a No.22, 'Some Kind of Bliss' is Kylie's only single not to make the UK Top 20, although it was a substantial airplay hit.
