Arguably Kylie's most controversial non U.K. release, 'Your Disco Needs You' sparked protests outside Kylie's U.K. record company from fans lobbying for its release! A remix of 'Your Disco Needs You' by Almighty did appear on the single release of 'On A Night Like This' but was quickly discarded as a possible follow-up.
In the end, 'Please Stay' was chosen as the final UK single from 'Light years', although 'Your Disco Needs You' was released in Germany and as a limited edition single in Australia featuring specially commissioned mixes.
