Release date: 28th June 2004
Highest chart position: 6
|
The final single to be lifted from Kylie's platinum-selling album 'Body Language', 'Chocolate' gave Kylie her 27th UK Top 10 hit when it entered the UK singles chart at No.6 in July 2004. 'Chocolate' was written by Karen Pool and Johnny Douglas, the team behind 'Red Blooded Woman', and is one of Kylie's personal favourites from the album.
The single release featured the first airing of the much sought-after 'City Games', one of the very first tracks that Kylie demoed for the album as well as mixes from the likes of EMO and Tom Middleton. The hypnotic video that accompanied the release is a stunning tribute to the MGM musical of old, and saw Kylie reunite with director Dawn Shadforth and choreographer Michael Rooney of 'Can't get Your Out Of My Head' fame.
