APHRODITE 3D IS GOING TO RUSSIA

Filmed at London’s O2 Arena, this stunning concert film features all of Kylie’s biggest hits including “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”, “Spinning Around” and “Slow”, along with tracks from her latest Platinum selling album Aphrodite. From golden chariots via flying angels to a water-soaked finale – this is an epic show not to be missed!

The 3D spectacular will be shown at 35 venues around Russia on 6 March 2012.

It was Kylie’s third and final surprise for this month that got the Australians excited!

Kylie has confirmed that she will be heading home to join with Sydney’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex community at the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras will honour Minogue during the Parade with a spectacular K25 float that pays homage to the artist’s outstanding contribution to the music industry and support of the LGBTQI community. SGLMG’s CEO Michael Rolik says Minogue’s RSVP to Sydney Mardi Gras 14 years after her last performance at the Mardi Gras party in 1998 will go down as a great moment in the organisation’s history.

NSW Minister for Tourism, Major Events and The Arts, George Souris said “The presence of Kylie Minogue is sure to make this the biggest and best Sydney Mardi Gras ever,” he said.

And Kylie is pretty excited herself saying ‘“I simply cannot wait, and it’s going to be a beautiful way to celebrate 25 years of this relationship,”

25,000 fans helped to unlock the website in only 90 minutes!

To kickstart celebrations for her 25th year in music, Kylie released a specially recorded acoustic version of ‘Finer Feelings’ to her fans via Kylie.com. The release is the first in a series of acoustic versions of classic Kylie songs, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.

Kylie asked her fans to ‘tweet to unlock’ the video. She needed 25,000 people to tweet #k25fans before the video could be ‘unlocked’ and available for everyone to view. Fans watched as a steady stream of tweets came through gradually unlocking the image on kylie.com/tweettounlock.

Within minutes #k25fans became the number FOUR trending topic worldwide and number ONE trending topic in the UK.

Kylie joined some of the biggest stars from the world of stand-up and comedy to perform live in front of comedy fans and a celebrity VIP audience at London’s Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on Tuesday the 13th of December.

Kylie sparkled as she gave a rendition of ‘Let It Snow’ with the comedians joining in to close the show with a final Christmas sing-along.

Michael McIntyre’s Christmas Special will air on BBC1 at 10.30pm on Christmas Day.

ELITE MODELS FINAL IN CHINA

Kylie was in China this week performing at the final round of the 2011 Elite Models Look contest.

First there was a futuristic style medley of Slow and Come Into My World complete with twelve space-age dancers. This was followed by Kylie performing an original jazz take on ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ where she was accompanied by pianist, Yundi.

65 girls from around the world participated in the competition which will be broadcast on 14 December 2011.
