Originally unplanned as a single,
‘If You Were With Me Now’ was released in October 1991
after a favourable reaction from radio. A heartfelt duet with leading
American singer Keith Washington, ‘If You Were With Me Now’
peaked at No.4 in the UK becoming Kylie’s first co-written
hit single. Kylie and Keith recorded their vocals separately and
only met briefly on the set of the video. The song peaked at No.23
in Australia. |
